DEHYDRATED PIECES

Introducing our latest innovative product, Eat Curious Dehydrated Pieces, a low-cost solution that can be used in multiple applications. Made from only pea and faba bean protein concentrates and salt, the pieces are free from the top 14 major allergens. The climate impact of Eat Curious Dehydrated Pieces is significantly less than conventional proteins, making them a more sustainable option for food service. Our dehydrated range has a long shelf life and should be stored ambient.

INGREDIENTS:

Textured Vegetable Protein (Pea Protein Concentrate, Faba Bean Concentrate, Salt)

ALLERGEN INFORMATION:

Free from the 14 major allergens. For allergens (including cereals containing gluten), see ingredients in BOLD.

STORAGE:

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in an airtight container.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Once hydrated and excess water is drained, our dehydrated product produces up to 3.5x in weight (you can obtain up to 4x its weight if allowed to fully hydrate overnight). Example: If you require approximately 1kg of Eat Curious mince, use 285g dehydrated product + 900ml of water.
1. Spread the Eat Curious Dehydrated Pieces evenly on a gastronorm tray.
2. Soak in water for at least 30 minutes using the following ratio: 1 part dehydrated product to 3 parts water.
3. For use in wet dishes add directly to dish.
4. For use in chilled dishes: Place on a gastronorm tray and coat in a small amount of cooking oil. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C / 180°C Fan Assisted / Gas Mark 4 for approximately 10 minutes or until core temperature is reached. Cooking times may vary. Use as required.
