With a tender texture and mild flavour, our Eat Curious Original Pieces are a versatile ingredient, perfect for a range of hybrid or plant-based dishes. They’re ideal for use in beef dishes such as stews, burrito bowls, or bulgogi. Produced on our solar-powered site, the climate impact of Eat Curious Original Pieces is significantly less than conventional proteins, making them a more sustainable option for food service. The pieces can be steamed from frozen, making application quick and simple.

INGREDIENTS:

Water, Textured Vegetable Protein (28%) (Pea Protein Concentrate, Faba Protein Concentrate, Salt), Tandoori Glaze (15%) (Sugar, Dried Glucose Syrup, Maize Starch, Garlic Powder, Ground Coriander, Natural Colours (Beetroot Extract, Paprika Extract), Salt, Ground Cumin, Onion Powder, Black Onion Seeds, Ground Fenugreek, Ground Cinnamon, Cracked Black Pepper, Ground Ginger, Cayenne Pepper (Chilli Powder, Paprika), Colour (Paprika Extract), Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid), Crushed Chillies, Chilli Powder, Dried Rubbed Coriander, Thickener (Guar Gum), Dried Rubbed Parsley, Natural Flavouring (Chilli Flavouring), Ground Clove).

STORAGE:

Keep frozen at -18°C or cooler. Important: If food has thawed, do not refreeze.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Shallow Fry (once defrosted): Remove all packaging. Place a small amount of cooking oil into a pan. Once oil is hot add the required number of pieces to pan and fry over a medium heat for 4 minutes.
2. Oven Cook (once defrosted): Remove all packaging. Place on a baking tray and cook in a preheated oven at 200°C / 180°C Fan Assisted / Gas Mark 4 for approximately 4 minutes. Cooking times may vary. Cook throughout to a minimum temperature of 75°C for 30 seconds or apply national standards.
3. Steam (from frozen): Place unopened, frozen bag into a steamer, ensuring to lay flat on the tray. Cook for 20 minutes at 90°C. Let stand for 1-2 minutes to allow hot steam to deflate.
