Ingredients

Scale

100g (3.5 oz) Eat Curious Dehydrated Mince

300ml (10 fl oz) water (or stock for extra flavour)

350g (12.3 oz) beef mince

50g (1.8 oz) tomato paste

20ml (0.7 fl oz) rapeseed oil

1kg (35.3 oz/2.2 lbs) mashed potato

5g (0.18 oz/1 tsp) thyme

10g (0.35 oz) garlic puree

20g (0.7 oz) gluten-free vegetable paste

1 litre (33.8 fl oz) water

300g (10.6 oz) onions, chopped

300g (10.6 oz) carrots, chopped

2g (0.07 oz/1/4 tsp) white pepper

100g (3.5 oz) gravy mix

5g (0.18 oz/1 tsp) salt

100g (3.5 oz) plant-based unsalted butter

200g (7.1 oz) garden peas

Instructions

1. Rehydrate Eat Curious Pieces: Soak 100g of Eat Curious Dehydrated pieces in 300ml of water (or stock for extra flavour). Drain excess water.

2. Cook mince filling: Peel the onion and carrot and chop. Sauté the onion and carrot for 3 minutes. Add in the beef mince, tomato puree, garlic and thyme and cook on a medium heat. Add in the rehydrated Eat Curious mince. Fill pan with stock until it is level with the contents of the pan. Cook until vegetables have softened (30 minutes) and thicken with the gravy mix.

3. Cook mashed potato: Prepare and cook mash as per manufacturers instructions. Add in the butter, season.

4. Assemble and cook cottage pie: Place mince filling in an oven proof dish and top with the mashed potato. Place in the oven and cook until it has reached optimum core temperature.
